Coverca School is a primary school, situated in a picturesque area of northern Romania, where people mainly deal with animal breeding. Families of students are less involved in school life and their education and some parents are gone to work abroad to earn more money so that some children are cared for by grandparents or other relatives. The school offers many forms of education, especially the preservation of local traditions, customs and environment protection. In our region there are many traditions at participating adults and children wearing traditional costumes. Such festivities are held in different times of the year (Easter, Christmas, New Year, community days, etc..) ,or family life events (birth, baptism, wedding, funeral).
